King Arthur

The Legend
From my point of view the most important
things in this story are as follows:
His surname was “Pendragon”, which means, “head of the
dragon” or "dragon pendant". He proved his
royal rights when he got out the sword from the stone.
He got his next sword (the first one broke) from Lady
of the Lake, and Merlin was his intermediary.
Also Lancelot du Lac (of the Lake), his champion, was
a gift from the Lady.
Now a little about Chinese history,
myths and legends.

"In
the right lower corner there is the Rock to Trial Swords.
It is said that King Wu two and a half thousand years
ago tried his sword, and cut this rock with it. Writings
on boulders nearby tell this story. In the vicinity
lies the Lake of the Sword. Perhaps swords were tempered
in its waters long time ago. All these you can find
near Suzhou, on Tiger Hill, known in old days as Hill
of Waving Sea."
I read all this in the book of Robert
Temple "Genius of China".
The start of King Tang dynasty (Shang
dynasty) was announced by bronze sword, appearing from
water. The dominant element was metal, and garments
were white. Symbolism of iron and white color connects
with Xiwangmu, the Mother of West Kings, and with Lake
and Tiger (trigram "Lake" in Book of Change
means "lake", "witch", "West",
"Tiger" and some others.
Now let's look at this sign: |
 |
It means "old,
antique". Does it looks like a sword in a rock?
Don't you see it yet?
The sword in the rock, the Lake of
the Sword, Lady of the Lake, the Sword from the Lake...
Xiwangmu, Lady of the West, has a
crow as one of her symbols - like Celtic war goddesses
- and like King Arthur.
Findings on Mongolian and Chinese border (mummies of
blond Europeans, dressed in Scottish checkered cloth
(dated at 4.000 - 800 years ago) give us the proof that
people of Celtic origin were living there for more than
three thousand years!
The story about the sword, the rock and Lady of the
Lake could wander through Asia and Europe from one group
to the other.
If we add together the things I told about and the fact
that the surname of King Arthur was "Pendragon",
which means "Dragon Head" or "Dragon
Banner", and the sign of Chinese emperors is the
dragon, the similarities are striking.
I think that more ancient stories were wandering from
East to West and from West to East.
Let's look first at this sign: |

|
It means:
"The Book of Change". Also
you can read this as “The Book of Zhou Family” or “Divination
about Everything”.
For people who don’t know Chinese it looks like “a house
on Chicken Feet”. Heroes of fables find in this house
a witch, good or bad. Perhaps she was Daoist sightseer?
Someone without reading skill would describe this sign
just like that.
And something from Polish fables:
Chinese roofs of old often were adorned
with figurines of a magus who wanted to reach Heaven
riding on a chanticleer the sixth line of 61 hexagram)
but was thrown down by a thunder. The Book of Change
is 5000 years old, perhaps older. Polish magus, Master
Twardowski, who lived in XVI century, mounts a chanticleer
and he tried to run from a devil on it. He ended suspended
between Heaven and Earth.
Perhaps his story is older than 400
years?
And great thanks to Steven King who
was looking into my site! |
